• Analyze how diplomatic negotiations are conducted;
• Develop effective communication strategies for more productive negotiations;
• Understand the main techniques, rules, and processes of diplomatic negotiation and its specific requirements within a multilateral framework such as the UN;
• Become familiar with the origin, purposes, strengths and challenges of multilateral diplomacy;
• Demonstrate public speaking and presentation techniques – including preparation, structure and delivery;
• Identify personal strengths and weaknesses as presenters.
