The “Webinar #2 on Micro-/Nanoplastics” took place on 28 March 2025, from 2:00 - 3:30 p.m. CET (9:00 - 10:30 a.m. EDT).

This webinar covered the current trends of microplastic pollution in marine environment, and risk assessment of microplastics.

UNITAR and the Directorate of Climate Change (DoCC), an affiliated institution of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, Republic of Türkiye conducted an online capacity-building session “Introduction to the Prosperity Blueprint: Project Proposal Development for DoCC members. 

This webinar is part of UNITAR’s ongoing series on the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS), which has been running over the past several years. The focus of this session is on updates and revisions to the GHS text, a topic that has come up in discussions with partners and stakeholders.
