Objectifs de l'événement
- To empower children and youth to engage in dialogue on global issues related to the UN’s mission and the SDGs.
- To promote intercultural understanding and cooperation among young participants from Japan and abroad.
- To provide a platform for children to share messages, proposals, and solutions for a sustainable and peaceful world.
Arrière plan
The Children’s World Summit in Support of the United Nations is a large-scale youth forum aligned with the values of the UN, providing children with a platform to express their visions, concerns, and commitments toward peace, sustainability, and global cooperation. Taking place during the Osaka Expo, the event convenes thousands of young participants to promote international understanding, cultural exchange, and the role of children in shaping a more peaceful and sustainable future. The Summit also helps raise awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) among youth audiences in Japan and around the world.

The event programme included:
- Plenary sessions featuring youth speakers

- Interactive exhibitions and SDG-themed activity zones
- Dialogues with representatives from the UN system, local government, and civil society
