As part of its mission to promote sustainable development and quality education (SDG 4), CIFAL Istanbul collaborated with BAU CO-OP, Darüşşafaka, UNITAR, and Bahçeşehir University to organize the Career Development Program with Darüşşafaka High School Students on February 27. The event featured engaging talks by CIFAL Istanbul team members on the critical topics of sustainability and climate change. Through this initiative, students were encouraged to reflect on global environmental challenges and their role in shaping a more sustainable future—highlighting the power of education and youth engagement in driving meaningful change.

Raise awareness about sustainability and climate change among high school students. Promote youth engagement in global environmental issues. Support SDG 4: Quality Education through informative and inclusive dialogue. Encourage students to take action toward a sustainable future. Share real-world experiences and insights from sustainability professionals.

The event featured informative talks on sustainability and climate change, delivered by CIFAL Istanbul specialists. It was structured as an interactive session where students learned about global environmental challenges, engaged in discussions, and explored how they can contribute to sustainable solutions in their daily lives and future careers.

The methodology involved expert-led presentations combined with interactive discussions to engage students actively. It emphasized real-world insights, encouraged critical thinking, and promoted student participation to foster a deeper understanding of sustainability and climate change.
