This session will offer an engaging and informative introduction to the world of mediation and conflict resolution. Participants will have the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the mediation process, exploring how it compares to other conflict resolution methods. The session will also cover essential ethical considerations and key negotiation principles crucial for effective mediation. Attendees will witness and participate in demonstrations of mediation techniques in action, followed by a discussion of mediation opening statements to highlight how to set the stage for a productive and collaborative discussion. This session is designed to equip participants with foundational knowledge and practical insights for navigating and resolving conflicts through mediation.
