The personal data of participants applying for, registering for or participating in UNITAR's training courses and other events is governed by the Data Protection and Privacy Policy. The annual Disaster and Emergency Management conference takes place at the end of each October. Relevant academic and professional partners are invited by the organizers to participate in the speaker selection process as part of the DEMCON Selection Committee.
