Objectifs de l'événement
The conference aims to present some of the many women who have transformed the STEAM universe and to stimulate the interest of girls for the STEAM careers.
Arrière plan
STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) is an educational interdisciplinary approach to learning, meaning many fields of study in one. STEM model includes science, technology, engineering and mathematics and arts. CIFAL Curitiba understands that the social and economic development depends not only of innovation, but also of the equality between genders. For this reason, CIFAL proposes a contest of videos that present women that are part of the STEAM world and have transformed these areas.
Contenu et structure
The workshop will be comprised of presentations and videos of many succesful women working towards STEAM areas. Presentations will be followed by Q&A sessions.
Audience visée
The workshop is addressed to high School students of the Sesi Schools in the state of Paraná.
