This workshop is designed for Staff & Faculty, recognising the critical role that they play in recognizing, responding and referring concerns and complaints regarding gender-related misconduct from Staff and Students in an IHL setting.

The main component of the Executive Diploma in Diplomatic Practice is a series of 8 workshops, which fall within UNITAR's Core Diplomatic Training (CDT).

Effective negotiation is critical in many areas, as the ability to reach mutually satisfactory agreements is a key skill in almost any field. Because of this, developing skills to master the art of negotiation is crucial.

Armed conflicts have persisted for what feels like an eternity in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, Ukraine, Myanmar, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Sudan. Amid frequent humanitarian crises, climate-induced emergencies, crippling insecurity, and economic instability, the number of forcibly displaced and stateless people was estimated to have exceeded 130.8 million in 2024.

The event will take place on Tuesday, 12 November from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM EST.

This workshop is the first session of the Fall 2024 Columbia Law School training series.

This workshop will take place in Hybrid format, in person from UNHQ for all those with a valid UN ID and online for those without a UN ID. 

UNITAR will not issue UN ID's for the participants.
