How can we make our cities more human and provide a more sustainable future? Is emotion the crucial ingredient that is missing in so much of design today? If buildings are designed more mindfully, might fewer buildings be demolished?

The event aims to explore how human-centric design can enhance urban living while promoting sustainability. We will examine the role of emotion in architecture, discuss strategies to reduce demolition through mindful building practices, and encourage collaboration among government, private sector, academia, and international organizations. Together, we will identify innovative solutions that prioritize community well-being and foster a more sustainable urban future.
