Background

Organized by CIFAL Miami with the support of UNITAR, this regional learning event builds on the Community-Port Resilience Program (C-PReP), an initiative launched in 2012 to strengthen disaster preparedness and emergency response capacities across airports, ports, and surrounding communities. 

Content and Structure

The seminar will bring together airport authorities, emergency management professionals, government representatives, humanitarian organizations, academia, and private sector leaders to share operational experiences, best practices, and practical tools that strengthen resilience across Latin America and the Caribbean.
