Learning Objectives
              By the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Know the biophysiological processes during hemorrhagic shock
- Know the transfusion triggers
- Know how to obtain Fresh Whole Blood for storage or immediate use
- Get prepared to handle complications during a transfusion
- Know the relevant UN documents
Content and Structure
              This course includes five (5) modules:
- Introduction / Why Blood
- Need Blood
- Get Blood
- Give Blood
- Blood Risks
Methodology
              This course takes approximately four till five (4 – 5) hours to complete. You can do a self-paced-learning and interrupt; however, you will need to complete all contents to complete the course
 
Targeted Audience
              The target audience will be medical personnel in UN missions which deals with blood and blood products and with emergency medicine like doctors, nurses, paramedic, lab-techs and paramedics.
