This module would review and discuss the latest trends and key issues around funding of the UN’s operational activities for development, provide background and highlights on the Funding  Compact’s commitments, which emphasizes greater transparency and accountability on the part of the system in exchange for higher quality and more predictable resources, and exchange views on the role of the UN development system in terms of supporting countries to finance the SDGs.

Background



•The Quadrennial Comprehensive Policy Review (QCPR) and the longer-term positioning of the UN development system

•This module would discuss the challenges and opportunities of the Decade of Action and explain the opportunities that the QCPR process offers to Member States to guide, UN operational activities for development in the next 4 years of implementation of the 2030 Agenda.

 

Content and Structure
