The Executive Diploma in Leading Organizational Transformation & Partnerships is designed to equip mid-career professionals, diplomats, and private-sector leaders with the skills and knowledge to effectively lead in today’s rapidly evolving landscape. With a focus on strategic partnerships, sustainable leadership, and cross-sector collaboration, this programme empowers participants to drive transformation within their organizations and create meaningful, long-lasting impact. 

Through a combination of online and face-to-face learning experiences, participants will gain practical tools and insights into leading organizational change, fostering innovative environments, and building strategic alliances for the 21st century. By integrating behavioral science principles, data analytics, and foresight techniques, this diploma prepares leaders to navigate uncertainty and leverage partnerships for sustainable growth. 

By the end of the programme participants will be able to:

  1. Drive Sustainable Transformation: 

Participants will acquire tools to implement lasting change in their organizations and industries, promoting long-term environmental, social, and economic sustainability. 

  1. Develop Strategic Public-Private Partnerships: 

Participants will be able to foster and lead effective cross-sector partnerships that address global challenges, including public-private partnerships that enhance organizational capacity to tackle pressing issues such as climate change and global inequality. 

  1. Enhance Leadership and Innovation Skills: 

By integrating behavioral science principles and data analytics into decision-making, participants will be empowered to lead with greater insight, foresight, and adaptability in complex environments. 

  1. Leverage Multilateral Frameworks: 

The programme's focus on navigating 21st-century multilateralism equipping participants with the knowledge and skills to engage with international organizations, collaborate across sectors, and make impactful decisions in a global context. 

 

The programme combines online and in-person learning, with four months of online coursework including 4 hours of weekly live sessions (2 hours on Fridays and 2 hours on Saturdays), totaling 60 hours of work, along with asynchronous weekly forums. It also includes a residential week at IE for immersive, hands-on learning. Delivered in a workshop format, the program focuses on active participation, foresight exercises, group dynamics, and developing sustainable public-private solutions. At the end of the programme, participants will be able to attend a graduation ceremony to celebrate their achievements.

Optional Experiential Components:

Participants admitted to the programme are offered a unique opportunity to partake in an optional field visit to Geneva, Switzerland, immersing themselves in the heart of diplomacy and international relations. 

The five-day field trip(s) cost USD 1,500 each and include exclusive experiences such as visiting various international organizations, the ICRC museum in Geneva, the ICJ in The Hague, and engaging in networking sessions with diplomats, personnel from permanent missions accredited to the UN, civil servants working in international organizations, and representatives from civil society.

Scheduled for the summer, the confirmed dates for these optional field visits will be shared with interested participants well in advance. 

(*) Please note that the programme does not include travel, accommodation, food, or visa expenses. Please note that participants should have a valid health insurance plan in place during their stay in Switzerland.

This executive programme is tailored for mid-career professionals in leadership roles across sectors, including:

At the end of the programme, participants will have a comprehensive understanding of how to lead change within their organizations while fostering cross-sector partnerships that address global challenges, including sustainable development.
