The overarching goal of the programme is to provide access to digital learning platform together with employment opportunities for Ukrainian women evacuees in Poland. The programme content aims at building up on their previous experience with new and practical skill-sets in the field of digital technology to strengthen their expertise.

The programme, supported by the People and the Government of Japan, has provided learning opportunities for more than 500 participants with the course tracks of Data Analytics, Geoinformatics, Cybersecurity, and Digital graphics and Web design. 45 top-performing programme participants will be invited to join the forum, where they will showcase their skills and ideas to the audience including global and regional business representatives.

Through the forum and its livestreaming, the UNITAR Division for Prosperity aims at: 

  • Providing a platform for programme participants to showcase their new skills-sets that they have acquired and ideas, as well as to get inspirations from peers 

  • Connecting programme participants to partners in the industry to enhance employability 

  • Providing an opportunity to audience for inspirations and awareness for the topics as closing the digital divide in the humanitarian context and supporting Ukrainian evacuees 

The forum will take place in-person in the premise of the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology in Warsaw.
