The seminars convened students from Shanghai, aiming to empower them as active participants in the UN SDGs. Each session provided valuable insights into UNITAR's mission and the UN's role in fostering global cooperation for the SDGs. Participants had the opportunity to acquire knowledge, interact with experts, and draw inspiration for their contributions to the SDGs. Additionally, the seminar included a field visit to the Palais des Nations, enhancing participants' understanding of the historical site.

  1. Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly focusing on SDG 6: Clean Water and Sanitation.
  2. Identify practical actions individuals can take to contribute to achieving SDG 6, such as volunteering, raising awareness, and participating in cleanup activities.
  3.  Reflect on the significance of collective daily actions in contributing to the progress of achieving the objectives outlined in Agenda 2030.
  4. Analyze the role of youth in influencing the SDGs, with a specific focus on adapting targets and indicators to China's context to maximize impact.
  5. Gain insights from UNITAR officials on effective strategies for youth engagement and empowerment in SDG-related initiatives.
  6. Develop skills in delivering presentations effectively to communicate the importance of youth participation in shaping a world aligned with the vision of the SDGs.
