'-    Understand the core concepts and dimensions of sustainable development. -    Identify and analyze the 17 SDGs and their relevance to local and national priorities. -    Align organizational projects with the SDGs and Saudi Vision 2030. -     Understand reporting, impact measurement, and strategic localization of SDGs.

Background

The program was designed to enhance the capacities of professionals and leaders at the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre by deepening their understanding of the 2030 Agenda and its Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with specific emphasis on national alignment and developmental impact.

Learning Objectives

'-    Understand the core concepts and dimensions of sustainable development. -    Identify and analyze the 17 SDGs and their relevance to local and national priorities. -    Align organizational projects with the SDGs and Saudi Vision 2030. -     Understand reporting, impact measurement, and strategic localization of SDGs.

Content and Structure

'-    Day 1: Introduction to SDGs and their relevance to maternal and child development -    Day 2: Designing impactful initiatives -    Day 3: Aligning with national priorities (Vision 2030) -    Day 4: Impact evaluation and stakeholder collaboration -    Day 5: Final presentations and group-based feedback

Methodology

The training employed a learner-centered approach including interactive presentations, case studies, collaborative design exercises, and structured discussions

Women leaders and managers from associations focused on maternal and child care within the nonprofit sector
