The pivotal role of data in supporting the SDGs highlights the necessity of being able to analyze SDG data with the R programming language 

1. Understanding of the SDG’s  Learn about the history and motivation behind the SDG’s. Gain insight into the methodology regarding goals, targets and indicators. 2. A new data science skillset R, R Studio, & Github are essential in any data scientists toolkit. This course offers a personalized introduction to these tools through the lense of the SDG’s.  3. A data science portfolio  All of your code, for coursework and your final project, will be recorded on your personal Github account. This is great publicity for your newly gained skills. Earn a certificate of completion from the United Nations Institute for Training and Research and the National Science Foundation.
