Background

Climate change and decarbonization are among the most pressing global challenges, requiring coordinated action across academia, government, private sector, and civil society. Decarbonization Nexus: Connecting Minds. Empowering Actions was organized as a multi-stakeholder platform to bring together diverse actors to exchange ideas, showcase innovations, and foster partnerships that support climate action, carbon reduction strategies, and sustainable development. CIFAL Bangkok participated as a partner in line with its mandate to support capacity development and dialogue on sustainable development issues in the Asia-Pacific region.

Learning Objectives
  • To create a collaborative platform for dialogue and exchange on decarbonization and climate action.
  • To connect academic institutions, practitioners, policymakers, youth, and the private sector around sustainability solutions.
  • To highlight innovative approaches, technologies, and initiatives contributing to carbon reduction and net-zero pathways.
  • To encourage cross-sector partnerships and collective action toward sustainable development goals.
