Background

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming the way institutions, governments, and businesses operate. From decision-making processes to negotiations, data governance, and strategic planning, AI is reshaping professional environments and creating new opportunities as well as complex risks.

For professionals across sectors, developing a working understanding of AI and its implications is no longer optional; it has become an essential competency for effective leadership and responsible governance in the digital age. The Certificate on Artificial Intelligence and Professional Skills is a fully online, live-delivered programme designed to equip participants with both conceptual understanding and practical insights into the use of AI in professional contexts. Through a series of expert-led sessions, participants will explore how AI technologies are influencing privacy, negotiation dynamics, risk management, and strategic foresight.

The programme focuses on real-world applications rather than technical development, enabling participants from diverse professional backgrounds to understand how AI systems operate, how they affect policy and organizational decision-making, and how they can be used responsibly and strategically.

Through interactive discussions, case studies, and practical exercises, participants will gain the tools needed to navigate the opportunities and challenges presented by AI while strengthening key professional skills relevant to diplomacy, international cooperation, business strategy, and governance. The Certificate on Artificial Intelligence and Professional Skills will be delivered fully online in synchronous mode.
