United Nations at Columbia Law School: Comprehensive Mediation Training
This Basic Mediation Training program is designed to equip participants with the fundamental skills and knowledge required to mediate conflicts effectively. Spanning five three-hour virtual sessions, with three additional in-person role play sessions, the course blends theory with practice, providing participants with hands-on experience in managing and resolving disputes. Upon completion, participants will be able to facilitate mediation sessions in a variety of contexts, with an understanding of ethical considerations, communication techniques, and conflict resolution strategies.

Certification Requirements:
To receive a certificate of completion for the Basic Mediation Training, participants must attend all sessions, actively participate in role-plays, and demonstrate a basic understanding of the mediation process through assessments and feedback.
