The workshop on Territorial Development and Management Plans was design to enhance public official's capacities on a series of topics related to public management at the local level.

- Exchange of best practices and knowledge of the following topics: electronic government; budget planning; the territorial record; information on competencies; national and territorial planning for the application of the National Territorial Strategy.

• Provide technical guidance to the teams of the Provincial Governments for the process of updating the Development Plans and Territorial Planning as a development tool for the provinces of Ecuador.

• Generate a dialogue space, in order to showcase the different proposals and thoughts for the different planning instruments from CONGOPE and have feedback from the Provincial GADs.

• Carry out an information gathering to strengthen the capacities of the technical teams of the Provincial GADs.

The workshop is comprised of the following topics:

General guidelines for the Update of the Development Plans and Territorial Planning of the provinces involved with the approach of Transformation of the Productive Matrix, Eradication of poverty and Patrimonial Sustainability.

The workshop is comprised of a series of lectures, practical exercises and question and answer sessions.

Public sector officials from the provinces of Ecuador.
