Data Protection and Privacy
The personal data of participants applying for, registering for or participating in UNITAR's training courses and other events is governed by the Data Protection and Privacy Policy. The main purpose of this event is to make students acquainted with the recent technologies and developments in energy and sustainability fields which will constitute the core of smart cities of the future.
Through this event the students will gain experience in literature review, writing and presentation skills. They will also practice how to create a start-up with a reliable business model.
The event is comprised of these topics:
- Introduction to emerging technologies and smart cities concepts
- Creation of working groups and hypothetical start-ups
- Progress Monitoring
- Presentation of start-ups and their business models
