Background
This module provides participants with a systematic framework to collect, visualize, quantify, and analyse energy and material flows within production processes, facilities, and broader urban-industrial systems.
Participants learn how to conduct mass balances, develop flow maps and Sankey diagrams, and identify inefficiencies, resource losses, and circularity hotspots.
Through hands-on exercises and practical case studies, the module enables participants to extract actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making, improve resource efficiency, reduce environmental impacts, and identify opportunities for circular interventions.
