War remains a matter of great concern to humanity. Recent conflicts have demonstrated that the ravages of war continue to have a devastating impact especially on the civilian population.  

 

Chemical hazards’ classification and communication systems are key elements of the sound management of chemicals. To harmonise these systems worldwide, the United Nations adopted, in 2003, the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS). The GHS is an important tool for countries to develop or modify national programmes and to facilitate trade.

 As humanity faces escalating challenges that threaten universal values such as climate change, poverty and inequality, war, and the ethical dilemmas posed by advances in artificial intelligence, there is a growing need within educational systems to equip future generations with the skills to address these global multifaceted crises.

In an increasingly unpredictable world, organizations and communities face a growing range of emergencies and crises, from natural disasters to human-induced disruptions.

The subject of international law brings a lot of concepts to mind, from war and settlement of disputes between States, protection of the environment, responsibilities and obligations, to human rights protection between citizens, refugees of different States and corporations.
