Humanity faces a global mental health crisis. Following the COVID-19 pandemic, many areas of the world are seeing massive societal impacts from poor mental health. We also see a global divide in access to mental health information, resources and treatment. This crisis impacts how we resolve conflict, at every level – personal and institutional. In this groundbreaking new program, participants will learn what aspects of conflict resolution can be impacted by mental health, what ethical problems can be presented when mental health issues arise, and tools to recognize and cope – including boundary setting. The workshop also will help participants understand, recognize and mitigate the vicarious trauma that can occur from working in conflict resolution.
