  • Provide an informal platform for exchanging ideas, experiences, and perspectives from diverse professional backgrounds
  • Strengthen collaboration opportunities across public, private, and international sectors
  • Support relationship-building that extends beyond the Residential Programme
Antecedentes

The networking event, “Executive Networking Reception: Leading in the Age of Intelligent Systems,” brings together participants, experts, and invited guests for an informal and engaging exchange on leadership, innovation, digital transformation, and sustainability.As artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and sustainability imperatives continue to reshape institutions and industries, the Programme provides an interdisciplinary platform for exploring how organizations can strengthen resilience, innovation, execution excellence, and long-term value creation.

As part of a  Residential Executive Programme, “Leading in the Age of Intelligent Systems: Driving Business, SDGs and Global Impact" , the event provides a dedicated space to connect with peers and professionals from international organizations, academia, and industry, fostering dialogue on strategic challenges and opportunities shaped by artificial intelligence and evolving global systems.

It is designed to encourage peer-to-peer interaction and direct engagement with experts in a relaxed setting, supporting meaningful connections beyond formal sessions and discussions.

Contenido y estructura

The event will take place on Thursday, 16 July 2026 and Tuesday, 21 July 2026, over two hours from 17:00 to 19:00, at the WMO Restaurant, 8th floor.

Público objetivo

The event welcomes:

  • Representatives from diplomatic missions and multilateral institutions
  • Experts in AI, digital transformation, sustainability, and global management
  • Senior executives from the European private sector across key industries (including finance, technology, manufacturing, consulting, and innovation-driven enterprises)
Información adicional

The event will bring together residential programme participants and a diverse group of resource persons, providing direct access to internationally recognized experts in artificial intelligence, global management, innovation, sustainable development, and organizational transformation. The resource persons contributing to the programme represent a broad range of disciplines and sectors, including academia, international organizations, industry, and consulting. Confirmed contributors include:

  • Jaehyang “Jae” So — Chair of the Technical Committee of the Global Water Partnership and former World Bank Group Director, with extensive experience in infrastructure, partnerships, and sustainable development
  • Dr. Michael Fors — Dean of the School of Business and Management at City University of Seattle and former senior executive at Boeing, Microsoft, and Intel, specializing in innovation, leadership, and workforce transformation
  • Tessa Forshaw — Cognitive scientist and innovation strategist, co-founder of the Next Level Lab at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, specializing in creative cognition, learning systems, and AI-enabled innovation
  • Vedant Ahluwalia — AI expert, global technology advisor, and CEO, contributing to AI strategy, intelligent systems, and large-scale transformation initiatives

Participation in the Networking Event is subject to limited availability of slots.
