Objetivos del evento
The event contributes to awareness and engagement aligned with SDGs 5, 7, 8, 9, 11, and 13, reinforcing the role of industry and leadership in advancing sustainable development.
The initiative aims to:
- Raise awareness among local leaders about sustainability and environmental responsibility;
- Highlight the role of the energy sector in sustainable development and urban transformation;
- Strengthen leadership engagement in promoting sustainable practices at the local level;
- Connect local initiatives with global sustainability agendas.
Antecedentes
The Transformation Project – Engie is an initiative developed by Sesi Paraná (Social Responsibility area) in partnership with Engie, a global energy company, focused on promoting sustainability awareness and strengthening the role of local leaders in environmental responsibility.
The initiative addresses key challenges related to sustainable development, energy transition, and climate awareness, emphasizing the importance of local leadership in driving behavioral change and community engagement.
CIFAL Curitiba will contribute as a speaker in one of the training moments, bringing an international perspective aligned with the United Nations agenda. UNITAR will also be invited to participate. The CIFAL Curitiba /UNITAR endorsement strengthens the initiative by ensuring alignment with global agendas and reinforcing its contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in the context of sustainable cities, energy transition, and climate action.
Contenido y estructura
Content is designed to bridge global sustainability challenges with local realities, reinforcing practical understanding and engagement.
The event will address:
- Sustainability and environmental awareness in the energy sector;
- The importance of local leadership in promoting sustainable practices;
- Urban transformation and sustainable cities;
- The connection between individual, corporate, and community actions in reducing environmental impacts.
Metodología
The methodology promotes participatory engagement and knowledge exchange, integrating global perspectives with local action and strengthening dialogue between industry and society.
The workshop will be conducted through:
- Interactive presentations;
- Expert contributions, including CIFAL Curitiba;
- Open discussions with participants;
- Exchange of experiences between industry, institutions, and local stakeholders.

Includes professionals, community representatives, and decision-makers with influence on local development and environmental practices.
