Antecedentes

The World Economic Forum (WEF)’s “The Future of Jobs Report 2025” projects that 170 million jobs will be created by 2030, while 92 million will be displaced. Now more than ever there is a growing need to develop data-related skills, including big data, analytics, and data literacy, in an evolving labour market. As organisations increasingly rely on data to inform decisions, there is a need for professionals to understand how evidence can be effectively generated, interpreted, and used.

In line with the Pact for the Future and UN 2.0, this e-workshop develops the practical digital literacy needed for evidence-based decision-making in professional and multilateral settings. Participants will explore how AI can support research and analysis while learning to apply critical judgement to its outputs. The workshop will help participants gain digital literacy and focus on the practical use of AI in evidence-based decision-making.

Objetivos del aprendizaje

After completing the e-workshop , participants should be able to:

  • Explain how digital literacy and AI can support evidence-based decision-making in professional and multilateral contexts;
  • Identify credible sources of information and distinguish reliable evidence from misleading or incomplete content;
  • Use select digital and AI tools to support the collection and interpretation of evidence;
  • Apply critical judgement when using AI-generated outputs to inform the decision-making process.
