Contenido y estructura

Through courses taught by a diverse faculty at the top of their academic and professional fields, Capstone research projects, and Professional Development Seminars, students can choose to focus in one of three different tracks: The Cybersecurity and Technology Policy track addresses the growing threats posed by digital technologies and connected devices to public and private sectors worldwide. High-profile cyberattacks and data breaches have exposed major policy gaps in building resilience. At the same time, emerging technologies like AI, machine learning, cloud computing, and blockchain are driving innovation but demand clear regulatory frameworks. This interdisciplinary program equips students with both technical and policy expertise for careers in cybersecurity and tech governance. The Globalization and Security track explores the evolving complexities of international security in a globalized world. It addresses both traditional issues—like war, nuclear proliferation, intelligence, and diplomacy—and emerging challenges such as human rights, democratization, transnational crime, and business risk. The track emphasizes the need for diverse approaches to manage security in today’s shifting geopolitical and human-centered landscape. The International Crime and Justice track explores the global dimensions of crime and justice in an era shaped by globalization. It addresses transnational crime, international law, and justice systems, while integrating technical tools such as mapping, GIS, and cybercrime analysis to better understand criminal networks and the growing cyber domain.
