One of the areas of action of the CONGOPE Road Safety Strategy is to promote knowledge exchange through sharing good practices in road safety throughout the region, and with strategic alliances with the public sector, the private sector, society civil and non-governmental organizations.

In this context, CONGOPE and its CIFAL QUITO / UNITAR host  the Xonference on Safe and Sustainable Mobility, an initiative that has the participation of the Ministry of Transportation and Public Works, the National Transit Agency and the ECU 911.

This meeting aims to deliver new academic knowledge in the field of road safety, launch good practices in accident data collection, and train professionals on pre-hospital care in traffic accidents, with the possibility of replicating methodologies and experiences

The event is comprised of the following topics:

  • Strengthening Road Safety.
  • Road Safety Interventions - efforts to reduce driving under the influence of alcohol.
  • National Pact for Road Safety.
  • Exchange of knowledge and experiences on smart cities, as information and sustainability tools.

The event is comprised of lectures with a question and answer session at the end of each lecture.

This event is targeted to any professional related with road safety topics.
