This event will only be held in person, and a valid UN badge is required for entering the building. No additional UN badge will be issued to participants for this event. 

Following the adoption of the resolution "End Plastic Pollution: Towards an International Legally Binding Instrument" by 175 countries at the United Nations Environment Assembly in March 2022, the Global Plastic Action Partnership (GPAP) at the World Economic Forum was established to address global plastic pollution.

The United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) was established in 1963 as an autonomous body within the United Nations with the purpose of enhancing the effectiveness of the work of the UN and its member states.

Our youths today will lead Singapore into a sustainable future. Building on the momentum created from the successes of the programme from 2019 – 2023, Science Centre Singapore seeks to continue to educate youths to develop a deep understanding on issues of sustainability and be agents of change.

The main component of the Executive Diploma in Diplomatic Practice is a series of 8 workshops, which fall within UNITAR's Core Diplomatic Training (CDT).
