方法

Ma’I Movement, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to ending period poverty in Hawaii, was a guest speaker at our event. They defined period poverty and talked about how it affects access to education, employment, and health. Lastly, they talked about what they are currently doing to combat period poverty. Cifal Honolulu talked about the free menstrual stations that they have in the restrooms at Chaminade to combat period poverty and help the students to have access to menstrual products. Lastly, Cifal Honolulu gave out goodie bags with free menstrual products to the students and had a hormone balanced lunch.
