Sesi Paraná (Sistema Fiep)
背景信息
The Decarbonization Program developed by Sesi Paraná is an initiative designed to support industries in transitioning to a low-carbon economy, responding to both regulatory requirements and market demands.
Within the context of increasing global and national climate commitments, including the implementation of the Brazilian Emissions Trading System (SBCE – Law nº 15.042/2024), carbon management has become a strategic factor for industrial competitiveness, access to markets, reputation, and financing.
The program supports industries in building resilience and preparing for climate transition by integrating sustainability into business strategy and operations.
The initiative aligns with global climate agendas and contributes to capacity development in climate action, supporting industries in aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and international decarbonization pathways.
活动目标
The initiative aims to:
- Support industries in reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions;
- Strengthen technical and strategic capacity for climate transition;
- Promote alignment between industrial operations and global sustainability standards;
- Enhance competitiveness through energy efficiency and low-carbon strategies;
- Facilitate access to financing mechanisms and innovation opportunities.
The program contributes to SDGs 7, 8, 9, 12, and 13, particularly in advancing sustainable industry, innovation, responsible production, and climate action.
