背景信息

This course proposal arises within the framework of the Mediterranean Sustainability Observatory. The creation of this Observatory is the result of the agreement signed between CIFAL Malaga and Abdelmalek Essaadi University, which also has the collaboration of the International University of Andalusia, the Andalusian Agency for Cooperation, the CIDEAL Foundation, the University of Malaga, the City Council of Malaga, the IATUR Tourism Research Institute, and the Mediterranean Cooperation Center of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN). The Mediterranean Sustainability Observatory aims to become a reference center for social agents from both shores of the Mediterranean interested in the development of the concept of sustainability in all its aspects. This includes topics such as climate change, biodiversity, land use, air quality, and pollution, as well as aspects such as inequality, wealth distribution, housing, circular economy, social justice, and of course, sustainable tourism.

学习目标

Firstly, it is essential to understand the main components of the international development agenda and the cooperation system, as well as the actors, instruments, and modalities of work that exist in this field. Secondly, designing projects appropriate to the intervention context and structured around a series of tools that will allow their adequate execution and monitoring which are fundamental. Thirdly, development cooperation projects must align with the Agenda 2030 and the 17 SDGs. How can we ensure that a project aligns with Agenda 2030? Identification: It is important that when planning an intervention, a specific demand is first identified. Link with SDGs: It is necessary to review the connection that the cause maintains with the Objectives outlined in the Agenda 2030.
