Many of today’s leaders in law, government, business and the arts – including at the UN itself – participated in Model UN as student. This event has been organized by the students of Władysław Jagiełło High School, Płock.

Event Objectives

This event is aims to provide a platform to simulate the United Nations assembly.

Content and Structure

The online event consists of the development of the UN model. Participants take on the roles of delegates from assigned countries and are bound by the same rules as United Nations delegates. Before the simulation, based on the official UN and national documents, participants prepare a report about their assigned countries stance on the discussed topic, which include contemporary world issues; During the conference, groups of participants prepare their own resolutions, which are then subject to debate. The aim of the delegates is to uphold and defend their countries proposals, and to convince other delegates to include them in the final resolution
