CIFAL Malaga- Seminar on cognitive neuroscience and aging: Mild behavioural impairment

Background
The Spanish Society of Geriatrics and Gerontology is oriented to the exchange of knowledge and experiences in cognitive neuroscience in various areas such as: mild cognitive impairment, dementia syndrome, disorders related to emotions and behaviours in older people, aimed at experts in cognitive neurosciences of aging. During the 60 Congress of the Society, a symposium will take place, in the format of a seminar, that addresses to mild cognitive impairment.
Event Objectives
The aim of the event is to create a cohesive group of experts to develop training programs, exchange experiences and develop research programs.
Content and Structure
The course will be structured in the following presentations
- Psychological and behavioural symptoms of mild cognitive impairment (Dr. Matias Bertone – CIFAL Argentina).
- Normal aging and subjective cognitive deterioration.
- Psychiatric symptoms and advances in detection, prevention and treatment programs of mild cognitive impairment.
- Changes in autobiographical memory and intervention through reminiscence therapy.
Methodology
The seminar will be based on several presentations after which debates with audience will take place.

Geriatric doctors, neurologists, psychiatrists, internists and family doctors, researchers and psychologists.
