Background

WWEC, the Worldwide Educators Conference, was founded in 2013 and is held annually
from August 20th to 22nd. It has been successfully held in Shanghai for eleven editions and is a highly influential cross-industry event in the field of "education + all industries". 

The conference gathers leaders, experts, scholars, entrepreneurs, and social elites from
various fields such as government, education, culture, technology, academia, business, and
capital, both domestically and internationally. Through various forms such as keynote speeches and professional forums, in-depth interactions and exchanges are facilitated. Each edition attracts over 10,000 professional visitors, 5,000+ enterprises, 500+ guest speakers, and 500+ keynote speeches. It drives hundreds of millions of online traffic and hundreds of thousands of offline visitors, continuously exerting extensive and profound influence across multiple industries such as education, culture, technology, and media. 

The 2026 WWEC Worldwide Educators Conference (12th edition) spans three days and
includes 24 parallel sessions and 5 workshops, covering the entire education spectrum. It
encompasses core areas such as AI education, international cross-border education, private
basic education, higher education, vocational education, research and study camp education, aesthetic education, science education, health education, silver senior education, business industry, educational compliance and self-discipline, educational public welfare and charity, campus operation and marketing, educational capitalization and overseas expansion, and educational space construction. It also caters to practical and urgent needs such as policy interpretation, cutting-edge technology implementation, physical school operation and management, industrial investment and financing, industry compliance and risk control, and lifelong aging education. It horizontally connects education with technology, cultural tourism, health care, capital, commerce, and other cross-industry sectors.

Event Objectives

The conference provides a platform to explore how education can contribute to the implementation of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, with discussions spanning holistic education, AI, international and cross-border education, science, health, sustainability, lifelong learning and innovation. 

The conference also brought together representatives from CIFAL Japan, CIFAL Jeju and CIFAL Philippines, reflecting the diversity of the CIFAL Global Network and its commitment to sharing knowledge and experiences across regions.
