Participants learn to use data-sharing platforms, and tools to identify and evaluate symbiosis opportunities. The module covers mapping, scenario simulation, visualization, and prioritization tools, helping participants understand tool interoperability, strengths, limitations, and practical applications in urban-industrial contexts.
Event Objectives
- Understand the role and principles of digital tools in UIS
- Recognize different types of digital tools (mapping, assessment, simulation, visualization)
- Identify benefits for hubs and urban-industrial systems
- Use digital symbiosis and waste mapping tools effectively
- Simulate scenarios
- Apply scoring matrices to prioritize UIS opportunities
- Integrate digital tools into hub operations and identify next steps for local applications
Targeted Audience
United Circles stakeholders, Hubs members and external stakeholders
