Background
The workshop aimed to strengthen collaborative leadership skills among diplomats and government officials in Geneva. As global challenges grow increasingly complex, effective leadership requires inclusive, responsible, and partnership-driven approaches. The programme supported the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in the final phase of the 2030 Agenda.

Content and Structure
The three-day workshop covered collaborative leadership principles, barriers to collaboration, responsible leadership and the SDGs, practical collaboration tools, global social development challenges, poverty-to-prosperity transitions, and gender-transformative leadership in cities. Sessions included expert lectures, reflection exercises, case studies, and team-based strategy development.
Methodology
The workshop was delivered in person through interactive sessions combining expert presentations, guided discussions, personal reflection exercises, Q&A sessions, and team-based strategy development. Participants engaged in practical exercises to identify strengths, overcome collaboration barriers, and design action plans. Case studies and real-world examples reinforced applied learning and peer exchange.
