Background

The "Autosobriety" program is an educational project aimed at preventing alcohol-related fatal road accidents and collisions by educating future drivers in driving schools. The program module is implemented through dedicated online or in-class training, as well as practical exercises using special VR glasses that imitate the perception of a drunk person. 

Event Objectives

- Eliminating drunk driving by raising awareness of the risks associated with drinking and driving among future drivers. 

- Increasing knowledge about the effects of alcohol on the body and its impact on driving 

- Increasing knowledge about the legal consequences of driving under the influence 

Learning Objectives

At the end of the workshop the participants: 

- know the number of fatalities of road accidents caused by drunk driving;  

- know the legal consequences of drunk driving in Poland 

- know how alcohol affects the human body and how long it is metabolized 

- can experience driving with increasing blood alcohol level using the 360 video material watched on the VR googles
