Background

Water is a vital resource increasingly threatened by climate change, pollution, and overuse. To address this issue, Bahçeşehir College, in collaboration with BAU Logistics management, TEMA, and CIFAL, organized an awareness event for students.  The event featured a presentation by a BAU faculty member on the importance of water and sustainable usage, utilizing educational materials provided by TEMA. It aimed to raise students' awareness about water conservation, global water challenges, and responsible consumption. The session concluded with a gift distribution by CIFAL and a group photo.  This initiative supported the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation), SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), and SDG 13 (Climate Action).
