Event Objectives
This course aims to prepare Force Medical Officers (FMOs) for the complex challenges of medical support in UN peacekeeping missions. Participants will gain practical skills in medical leadership, operational planning, and crisis response. Key objectives include mastering UN medical policies and procedures, enhancing rapid response to mass casualty incidents, and ensuring effective coordination of medical logistics. Methodology
This online course is designed to provide Force Medical Officers (FMOs) with flexible and engaging learning experiences. It includes interactive modules with scenario-based exercises. Targeted Audience
The primary target audience for this course is incumbent Force Medical Officers (FMOs) in field missions and selected FMOs for their pre-deployment preparedness. Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Medical Unit Commanders, Senior Medical Officers and other key medical appointment holders in the CMO and FMO Cell may also benefit from the course.
