Background
The SDG Forum, held on 5-6 November 2024, is the first multi-stakeholder platform in the Benelux region dedicated to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Organised by 21 partner organisations from diverse sectors, including CIFAL Flanders, the forum aims to foster cross-sector collaboration and connect stakeholders who might not typically engage with one another. It provides a unique opportunity for policymakers, businesses, NGOs, and academia to exchange ideas, share solutions, and deepen their commitment to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
Event Objectives
The SDG Forum aims to enhance participants' understanding of the SDGs and their application across various sectors. Attendees will gain actionable insights into integrating sustainability into their strategies, learn from best practices, and foster connections with other SDG stakeholders to accelerate sustainable transformation within their organisations and communities.
Content and Structure
The event features an inspiring blend of plenary sessions and nearly 40 interactive workshops, covering themes such as SDGs and Education, SDGs and Finance, SDGs and Local Government, and SDGs in Business. Workshops are offered in Dutch, French, English, or a combination of languages, ensuring inclusivity for a diverse audience. CIFAL Flanders is proud to contribute to the programme with its expertise in SDG implementation and sustainability.
