Event Objectives
The inaugural lecture, titled "Humanising Our Cities," will explore the intersection of design, sustainability, and human experience. Featuring Thomas Heatherwick, a globally renowned designer and visionary behind NTU's iconic The Hive building, the lecture will delve into how thoughtful, emotionally resonant design can transform urban spaces into sustainable, inclusive, and long-lasting environments. The discussion will emphasize the importance of integrating creativity, functionality, and sustainability in building the cities of tomorrow.
