Background

The Virtual Classroom platform offers eight courses focused on sustainable development. The courses are available in Spanish, English, and French. This project, now in its third edition in 2024, is part of the joint strategy of the Málaga City Council, through the Department of Citizen Participation, Migration, External Action, Development Cooperation, Transparency, and Good Governance, and the International Training Center for Authorities and Leaders, a subsidiary organ of the United Nations UNITAR agency, to raise awareness about the SDGs, making Malaga a leading city in understanding the 2030 Agenda and fostering a symbiosis of work and ideas to contribute to the achievement of sustainability-related goals.

Event Objectives

The Councilor for Citizen Participation of the Málaga City Council, Mar Torres, and the Director of CIFAL Málaga, Silvia Candamil, carried out the presentation of a new virtual classroom with a comprehensive training program on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), available completely free of charge to the citizens of Málaga.
