Arrière plan

Inclusive societies are the most peaceful and just societies. The United Nations recognizes this concept and has made the promotion of peaceful, just, and inclusive societies a priority in its Agenda 2030. To achieve this goal the UN has emphasized access to justice for all and building accountable institutions.

Objectifs de l'événement

Mediation is an inherently inclusive process that, when used properly, results in more just and sustainable solutions to problems. This workshop will provide participants with a grounding in mediation’s core principals. It will also introduce advanced conflict resolution concepts for developing models that can be used in communities, judicial, systems, and governments to increase transparency and accountability. The skills taught and models introduced will emphasize inclusivity for all members of society.
