Contexte

The future of work is being shaped today, and equipping young people with the right skills is key to ensuring they can thrive in an evolving digital economy. 

To mark International Youth Skills Day, CIFAL Saudi Arabia, with the support of UNITAR, is hosting an online session exploring how artificial intelligence, quality education, and lifelong learning can help prepare the next generation for the jobs of tomorrow.  

Objectifs du cours

Participants will gain insights into: 

• The growing role of artificial intelligence in transforming the world of work 

• The future-ready skills needed to succeed in a rapidly changing labour market 

• How Saudi Vision 2030 is advancing youth empowerment and innovation 

• The importance of Sustainable Development Goal 4 in building inclusive, quality education systems 

• Practical strategies for developing the competencies needed for emerging careers 
 

Contenu et structure


The session will feature Prof. Ibrahim Abdulmohsen Al-Badawi, former Deputy Minister of Education for Planning and Development and former Dean of the College of Computing at King Abdulaziz University, and will be moderated by Dr. Amal bint Abdullah Al-Muzayyid, an expert on the implementation of the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.
