To broaden young people's global outlook and enhance their capacity for international communication, the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) Prosperity Alliance Shenzhen (Greater Bay Area), in collaboration with relevant partners, is organizing the “Youth Voices” Speech Event. Guided by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), this year’s theme is “Global Issues, Youth Expression — Envisioning a Future of Sustainable Prosperity.” The event aims to inspire young people to actively engage with global challenges and opportunities, while strengthening their sense of global responsibility and cross-cultural communication skills.

This year’s event focuses on key topics such as sustainable economic development, educational innovation, technological advancement, the integration of traditional and modern cultures, the relationship between society and nature, sustainable urban development, and our shared human future. Participants are encouraged to express personal insights, share unique perspectives, and propose creative ideas. The event seeks to build an international platform for youth expression, empowering the next generation to reflect on the interconnectedness of local and global issues, and to grow as future global citizens and contributors to sustainable development.
